FALL!

It's whizzing by! I am currently working on seasonal prep, restocking the shops that carry my work and taking made-to-order requests. In addition to Dogpatch Pottery (Crawford Bay), The Craft Connection (Nelson), Touchstones Gift Shop (Nelson), Kootenay Gateway (Rossland) and Handmade Shoppe (Kelowna), folks in Grand Forks can now find me at Gallery2! I'm very pleased to be branching out to another community. If you see something you would like to purchase on the website and it is out of stock, please just let me know. I am busy in the studio and can easily add a request to the make list. Happy Fall!  Love - Eva

Summer daze...

Summer is rolling onwards... this is the time I take a break and get away. This summer my husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary, so we hit the main lake for five days along with Grandpa, our trusty canoe. It was utterly lovely. The shop is stocked with brand new CAMPERS which are also available at Dogpatch Pottery in Crawford Bay. There will be more work rolling out early September on the website, so stay tuned! Stay cool everyone - it's a scorcher time of year! Love - Eva

June is here?

I'm surprised every time a new month comes up. It's like I keep thinking I'll wake up and it will be mid-March and I'll be saying "I just had the craziest dream that seemed to go on forever." It's not a dream, it's all real and we are all working hard to support each other through the virus and, more recently, the #blacklivesmatter rallying. June is here, and I continue to create work for a season that is coming into focus slowly... my stockists are cautiously opening and I just heard that non-food vendors are allowed to be at Markets again! So watch for me out there - I'm making inquiries to get involved. The Mother's Day giveaway and MAYDAY...

Spring and Summer in these altered times...

COVID-19... things have shifted from the usual seasonal flow. What started out as days of "wait and see" quickly evolved into weeks and months, and we are all in this together which makes it somehow even weirder. Such a massive collective tilt! My studio work flow is still evolving in this new and ever-changing situation, and it is still tentative. The work is flowing, just slower; it's harder to focus and lose myself in the work.  My usual busy festival and market season is either cancelled or up in the air, so I'm going to be shifting my selling groove here, to my website which I confess, I chronically underuse.  Get ready for a shop update on April 10th, and another a...

It's a new year!

Let the re-stocking begin! This time of year is a blend of trying new things and re-stocking the supply shelves. Deadlines feel a long way off, so getting a toe in now makes me feel super prepared.  It's also a great time to do on-demand making, so if there's something you want that you don't see here, contact me and I'll add it to the make list. I've got a few of those already in process. Locals can find me on February 15th at Taghum Community Hall. They have a fair every month, and that's the next one I'll be at! All the best to you and your's as we ring in the new year!
