Myers-McKimm Ceramics is a Canadian contemporary ceramics studio nestled on the shore of Kootenay Lake in the traditional territory of the Sinixt in Nelson British Columbia.

Eva attended Kootenay School of the Arts for four years in Nelson, BC and received a Diploma in Ceramics.

Her studio focuses on creating functional wares with clean forms and intentionally ensuring that pieces feel good in the hands during use. Eva works with primarily high-fire white stoneware, and is currently exploring the addition of local clay from a deposit in front of her home.

Colour, texture and form are cornerstones of the design process. Surface designs range from graphic logo-style imaging to art nouveau floral patterns and are applied using a variety of techniques; rubber stamps, underglaze decals and stencils.

Eva Myers-McKimm is the designer and maker at MMC. Her work is inspired from an urban childhood in Edmonton, retro colourways, a love of the forms of old metal canisters, and the natural landscape that surrounds her.

She is currently working full time in the studio.

Myers-McKimm Studio is located five miles outside of Nelson, BC on the North Shore of Kootenay Lake at 2310 Boyer Road.
